Our Messages

Do You Have Faith?

Jesus is able to do what is naturally impossible. Are we able to have patience and let the Holy Spirit lead us? The results are a combination of God's time and our believing.

Obedience

Here in America, Obedience is kind of a taboo word. We are taught to be our own man or woman and submitting to anyone is a sign of weakness. But today we look at obedience from a biblical perspective. Our obedience to God and our leaders is the difference between and effective, ordered local church and a chaotic one. Our obedience will lead to the saving of our own lives and the lives of others.

Knowing Who You Are

Most people identify themselves with what they do for a living. They are a cook or carpenter. But Christians are not so because of what the do. It is actually the opposite. We understand who we are and "do" accordingly. But to "do" accordingly, we have to know who we are.

3 John

In this letter to a friend John commends followers and those who labor for the truth. He tells us that Christian hospitality is a great way to live in a "manner worthy of God." Next is a warning to a proud person contrasted with a brother with good testimony, and he concludes by expressing a desire to speak face to face, ending with peace and greetings.

2 John

In this letter, John is going to warn us of many of the same false teaching that John mentioned in his first letter and it is addressed to the elect lady and her children, with a focus on hospitality. To sum it up, John tells his children to walk in the truth, obey the commandments, love one another, and guard the teachings of Christ so that they will not be deceived by antichrist.
