Romans 16:1-27
We finally come to the end of the letter to the Romans. In this final chapter, Paul greets over 20 people by name, a couple that are unnamed, and several churches that are meeting in people's homes. These are people who he had met along the way in his missionary travels, and it seems he intended to meet them in Rome. He also closes the letter with greetings on nine other believers with him when he wrote the letter. This shows that Paul was not a man who went at it alone. He not only cared about reaching unbelievers, but he cared about his relationships with those who believed as well. He didn’t just make converts, but rather he made disciples, and he taught these disciples to do the same.
